According to U.S. News and World Report’s best graduate programs
When we invest in teachers, we help strengthen the future of education in Wisconsin. And that’s our goal. That’s why the UW-Madison School of Education developed the Teacher Pledge. You pledge to work at a Wisconsin pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade school for three to four years after graduation. We pledge to pay the equivalent of in-state tuition and fees, testing, and licensing costs. That means you’ll earn a master’s degree with no student debt when you finish the pledge.
Gain a Network of Support Beyond Graduation
Great educators continue to learn — and grow. UW Madison’s School of Education is committed to supporting all our students during their program and into their teaching careers. We’ll help you connect with our extensive network of teaching alumni and access professional learning opportunities, like the Early Career Teaching Institute — a one-week intensive learning experience for educators.
